Silk purse

Well Martin, it just goes to show you cannot make a silk purse out of a pigs
ear. Brucie couldn't do it and all the new "Messiahs" before him couldn't do
it either. Where do you take this lot from here? If it wasn't for a few wins
at the start of your arrival you would be sweating it out along with Bolton
and QPR Your recent form is more in line with the overall results for the
season.

Regardless of Sundays results the Mackems will once again finish round
about, or just above the relegation positions - well at least they are
consistent.

As the saying goes, revenge is a dish best eaten cold, and I'm enjoying
mine, bearing in mind all the SMB gobshites from three seasons ago who had
plenty to say - but now -well it seems they've all vanished. Dilutey is a
term I've used before for the so called supporters on here, but never has it
been more apt.

For those Mackems who want a taste of the "Eurpoean" experience, Easyjet
have some good deals at the minute. You've as much chance of qualifying for
Europe not just next year, but in the near future, as Hartlepool.

Sweet lol . I'm looking forward to the biggest nail biter in years. It's
been a long time coming and just being above Chelski is so sweet. A finish
above Spurs and Arsenole would just be cream on the cake.
At the very least, I get to see the Toons at Reading ( 20 mins from me) and
Southampton.Even if I have to sit with the home fans.
Last time I saw them was at Chelsea a few seasons back- season opener and we
lost. NOT good sitting with Chelski fans LOL

We've never won on the last day in the premier league, so yesterday ran true
to form!!

While it's good to finish above Chelsea and Liverpool, the one that matters
most is not just
to finish above the great unwashed, but the actual margin - 20pts. Next year
will probably be
another false dawn for them, although when your main aim in a season is to
avoid relegation then
I suppose every season is a success in their eyes. :-]
On a lighter note, at least they have one with a sense of decency among
them - take a bow
Leonard - a gentleman and a scholar!!
True to his word he is settling up the bet we made at the start of the
season. Pity there weren't a few more like him.

Enjoy the Reading and Saints games next year, but whether anyone will be
aroung these NG's to read your thoughts is
another matter. Haway the lads.

avoid relegation then
I suppose every season is a success in their eyes. :-]
On a lighter note, at least they have one with a sense of decency among

Leonard - a gentleman and a scholar!!
True to his word he is settling up the bet we made at the start of the
season. Pity there weren't a few more like him.
Enjoy the Reading and Saints games next year, but whether anyone will be
aroung these NG's to read your thoughts is
another matter. Haway the lads.

Well Martin, it just goes to show you cannot make a silk purse out of
a pigs ear. Brucie couldn't do it and all the new "Messiahs" before
him couldn't do it either. Where do you take this lot from here? If
it wasn't for a few wins at the start of your arrival you would be
sweating it out along with Bolton and QPR Your recent form is more in
line with the overall results for the season.
Regardless of Sundays results the Mackems will once again finish
round about, or just above the relegation positions - well at least
they are consistent.
As the saying goes, revenge is a dish best eaten cold, and I'm
enjoying mine, bearing in mind all the SMB gobshites from three
seasons ago who had plenty to say - but now -well it seems they've
all vanished. Dilutey is a term I've used before for the so called
supporters on here, but never has it been more apt.
For those Mackems who want a taste of the "Eurpoean" experience,
Easyjet have some good deals at the minute. You've as much chance of
qualifying for Europe not just next year, but in the near future, as
Hartlepool.
Sweet lol . I'm looking forward to the biggest nail biter in years.
It's been a long time coming and just being above Chelski is so sweet.
A finish above Spurs and Arsenole would just be cream on the cake.
At the very least, I get to see the Toons at Reading ( 20 mins from
me) and Southampton.Even if I have to sit with the home fans.
Last time I saw them was at Chelsea a few seasons back- season opener
and we lost.
